I booked our Trip to TUI BLUE Tropical on a whim, three weeks before the event, one miserably rainy day in March. That point where you’re desperate for a holiday? We’d reached it! We very much needed some well-earned R&R. I had my fingers crossed, very much hoping TUI BLUE Tropical was the answer! The photos looked idyllic, and the reviews from TripAdvisor & friends alike were relentlessly complimentary: now felt like the time to give it a go!
Hands Up, I’m not easy to impress. I’m an extremely picky and discerning traveller, my standards are high and difficult to meet, but TUI BLUE Tropical more than lived up to the hype, and I’ve been urging everyone I know to book it ever since. This place offers Something truly Special. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated the fact that there was absolutely nothing for me to pick apart!
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the whole experience was 100% perfect…faultless. This is a 4 star hotel, with a 4 star price tag, but to us it felt like a 5. Everything was spotless, the output from all staff was 110% , the gardens and beach were beyond heavenly: peaceful and immaculately maintained, and an indescribably magnificent honey-like Jasmine smell filled the air at every corner and turn. Pool and Beach
There are some AWESOME pools to enjoy here! A HUGE lagoon style one with 2 big water flumes, a kids’ pool with kids’ water slides, a baby pool and a separate quiet pool. If you get tired of lounging pool side (where there are plentiful bars & sunbeds) you can take the short walk though peaceful greenery & water features to the on-site sandy beach, complete with day beds. We were here during opening week and the sun hadn’t quite done its work heating the pools yet, but that didn’t stop us, and certainly wouldn’t be a problem in the peak summer heat.

Facilities and Entertainment
TUI BLUE Tropical is a Member of the TUI BLUE Range, designed with families in mind. Via the BLUE App you have full access to a huge schedule of family activities running throughout the day and evening. Everything on offer is top-notch and includes: Parent and baby sessions, Nursery & Kids Club with Fully Trained Staff, Kids’ Club, Football sessions, archery, darts, skittles, pool-side discos, quizzes, and AMAZING quality shows and evening performances. The garden houses a Wonderful, large, fenced playground for younger kids too…a great place for parents to relax with a cool drink whilst their little ones have fun.
The mini disco was epic and one night it even turned into a mini rave with the glow in the dark bracelets & face-paints! In high season, TUI BLUE Tropical also operates its famous beach-side “White Party” in the stunning, chilled out beach-bar.
The resort boasts 3 amazing Footy/sports pitches in total and our boys were there pretty much all day long, either at an organised session or with the friends they’d made on pitch. They also joined in with darts & Skittles, played table-tennis & foot tennis, and participated in many of the evening quiz sessions too. The kids’ club sessions were broad and varied but our two are too old for these now. However, in peak season a teens club adds extra entertainment for older children.
What I love about the TUI BLUE range is that the adults are not forgotten. Paul and I started every day with Yoga in the most beautiful, outdoor, shaded garden spot. There are multiple exercise sessions to enjoy on-site, plus a gym, and a full Sauna and Steam-room (we’re talking hard-core here, my pores have never been so open!)
NEW! A year after our stay at TUI BLUE Tropical the hotel also introduced an incredible Sensory Room with Family sensory sessions and round-the-clock access. Childcare staff received extra Neurodivergence training, and kids’ clubs introduced now and next boards, communication cards and sensory bags to ensure these spaces are as welcoming as possible for all children. Family Friendly Food Galore!
Food-wise just WOW!! TUI BLUE Tropical is All-Inclusive and the quality of the food is just second to none! We really appreciated the great choice of eateries. Besides the buffet restaurant there are 3 further restaurants and you’re given the opportunity to book each of them once during your stay.
We particularly enjoyed the Taverna, where a good selection of food arrives on sharing platers course by course, no need to order, just try a little of everything, it was delicious! At the buffet restaurant: the best humous I have ever tasted, and the diversity of food is really fantastic.
There’s something for everything from traditional Turkish fayre to expertly labelled “Free From” areas (catering well for those with allergies) to plainer food options, to beautifully presented and pre-plated meats. We all ate just as we wanted:
I chose plates full of roasted vegetables with halloumi, feta and olives, the boys stayed more meat-heavy, but honestly both the taste and variety were excellent. And the PUDDINGS! Oh my goodness, the most incredible delicious, artistic creations you’ve ever seen! Kids even have their own separate buffet area with kid-friendly food and cute little benches for them to sit at!
Timings for breakfast, lunch and dinner are long and generous, there’s also even an evening buffet from 11pm! But if you get peckish outside meal-times, it’s your opportunity to advantage of the pancake and ice-cream stands & various snack stations!

Family Friendly Accommodation!
Let’s not forget the accommodation: so important in keeping everyone well-rested and comfortable. I upgraded us to a Junior Suite which cost me an extra £140 for the week. This meant a one-bedroom apartment, with the boys in the lounge. The room was immaculate, modern and well-presented. The lounge area, where our boys slept, had two separate beds, the curtains were completely black out. The other option here is a family room, which again is beautiful and modern, and clearly the more cost-effective choice.
What’s the secret ingredient that makes TUI BLUE TROPICAL stand out from the crowd?…It’s all in the Detail!
Like I said, I’m a discerning traveller. I don’t like dirt, I don’t like it when dishes aren’t cleared away, essentially, I really value great service. Great Service, no EXCEPTIONAL service is what TUI BLUE Tropical offers by the bucket-load. We did not encounter one member of staff who wasn’t exceptional. Salir, our yoya teacher, picked up early on that I was into meditation, and started building deep-breathing into other exercise classes we attending too, he knew us by name from day one.
Every day, as we wound our way through honey-smelling pathways on the way to breakfast, cleaners greeted us with a friendly smile, good morning and hello. The bar staff were always keen to get your order just right, plentiful waiting staff hustled around the restaurant sweeping up food as soon as it hit the floor and keeping everything “just so”.
Gardeners scurried around endlessly, clipping, sweeping, washing, and maintaining the veritable oasis they have created. The entertainment staff were Incredible, so talented, and the acoustic pool-side sessions during the day were of an exceptional standard too. One day, Sammy broke his finger playing volleyball and the response in bandage-finding was immediate and care-full. Paul and I are both duvet-hoggers so we went and asked at reception if we could have an extra duvet: it was in our room 10 minutes later…no problem at all.
In essence, we felt important, and taken care of, and that’s where true relaxation begins and ends. We would return to TUI BLUE Tropical in a Heart-beat and I’m already looking at Booking it for next year!
