It’s our firm belief that an hotel with an exceptional Kids Club can absolutely make a holiday. We’ve done both types of holiday, the ones with the kids’ clubs, and the ones without, and our advice is that, even if you’re not sure your children will use it, having an exceptional club onsite for your kids will give you the option for the rest and relaxation time together you need and deserve. Kids’ clubs also provide the extra assurance that the holiday you’re choosing is really geared up for families.
The trick is to choose a hotel with an exceptional kids club offering, not all kids clubs are created equal. If the kids club on site doesn’t look and feel inviting, or offer passionate, well-trained staff, it’s far less likely your children will want to join in. The Best Kids’ clubs we have personally experienced have been with Holiday Villages and TUI BLUE where the training of the staff is exceptional, and the offerings are so varied and fun (think water-fights, pirate treasure hunts, dinosaur quests, messy play) our boys have been knocking down the door to go, and so sad to leave.
