Why Eurocamp offer the perfect holidays families with preschool children
Calling all frazzled parents of preschool children…are you looking for a care-free, relaxing, fun-filled and affordable holiday with your pre-schoolers? If yes, Eurocamp is IT! What follows is a complete and heart-felt explanation of why (I’ve been thoroughly enjoying Eurocamp holidays since the 1980s, so count myself as something of an expert here!)
When it comes to booking an easy and memorable holiday with preschool children, “camping” may not be a word that immediately springs to mind. The brain usually gravitates to wet toddlers in a soppy field in a cramped tent with a flooded ground sheet, being kicked in the night and struggling for inspiration for keeping them occupied during the long, 12-hour, daily quest for entertainment.
Not so with Eurocamp Holidays, who, in my mind, have wisely used 50 years’ accumulated experience to step right inside the list of needs of a preschool parent, and seamlessly cover every single expectation and base in order to create holidays offering glorious days of tantrum-free, giggle-ready fun! Hear me shout Eurocamp’s confident affirmation from the rooftops: “if your toddlers could choose, they’d choose us”, and I couldn’t have put it better myself

Here’s Why…
#1.Outstanding family friendly “home from home” accommodation with at least 2 bedrooms:
Eurocamp accommodation is about as far away from that muddy ground-sheet as you could possibly imagine. Spacious, stylish and modern “home from home” lodges offer up to 3, yes 3, separate bedrooms. I get so many requests for accommodation with multiple-bedrooms allowing the best sleep possible, and this isn’t so easy to achieve at a package resort where either family rooms or apartments with one bedroom are much more common, so this is a niche in which Eurocamp really excels.
For 50 years now Eurocamp Holidays have been specialising in hassle-free outdoor holidays where equipment is supplied so you don’t need to worry about cumbersome packing. Black out blinds are supplied in all the bedrooms, linen can be pre-booked, and bed-guards, baths, changing mats, cots and high-chairs, can all be pre-ordered at no extra charge. Though you’ll find toilet and shower rooms on site, each holiday home comes equipped with full kitchen and microwave facilities and at least one bathroom, on a generous-sized pitch offering plentiful outdoor play and fun opportunities. There are a range of gorgeous homes to choose from, the newest of which is the Aspect Plus, offering a touch of luxury, the highlights of which are the squishy sofa, Queen sized bed for parents, Nespresso machine and (my personal favourite) an egg Swing!

#2.Enough Free-Range Splash and Play Fun to keep them giggling all day
Eurocamp sites have always been selected for their capacity to allow children the opportunity to safely roam and play in beautiful, idyllic wide-open spaces with a feeling of uninterrupted freedom. Many of them are situated either on, or within easy distance of, some of Europe’s most glorious, golden sandy beaches. Eurocamp Holidays’ specially designated toddler friendly sites provide enough entertainments to keep your little ones busy all day long, with fantastic, secure spray and splash parks for hours of giggling water fun, and multiple play grounds to experience.

#3.Baby and Kids’ Club sessions for the whole family to enjoy
Eurocamp Holidays offer a great-range of twice daily activity sessions in their fun station kids’ club, with fun times on offer for kids of every age. Having attended Eurocamp Kids’ Clubs most summers from the age of 5, I can personally vouch for how awesome and inclusive they are. I was a shy child but I always felt welcome and comfortable here.
What makes Eurocamp Holidays special is that they have 9 parks at which free Mini Fun Stations for preschool children are readily available, starting from 0 months old to 4. Whilst finding a holiday with a kids club is easy when your little one turns 4, baby and toddler clubs are much more of a rarity. Parents attend with their children at this age, and there are such a diverse range of pre-school play fun times to be enjoyed, from sensory play to circus activities, to mini chefs and messy monsters. Mini Fun station is the perfect place to play, giggle and make new friends. The kids’ club staff are fully vetted and security checked and bring endless amounts of enthusiasm to their sessions with the children.

#4.The Flexibility to Choose the Travel option to best suit your family
When you book a Eurocamp Holiday you pay for your family’s accommodation and full use of onsite facilities for the duration of your stay (which incidentally is flexible by the night). Travel is organised separately, which allows you the flexibility to select the best way to get to your site of choice. You might decide to fly and hire a car, or you might decide to take your own car on the shuttle or ferry and drive to your destination. This is a popular option for good reason: it often works out much more economical, the roads across the Atlantic are often far less busy than our own, and there’s much less of a limit on the cuddly toys you can pack and take with you!

#5.Exceptional Value for Money
Eurocamp almost always wins on cost: Fact. This year, more than ever, we are all watching our budgets and costs, and in off-peak season you can book a Eurocamp holiday for your entire family for as little as £199 which is exceptional value for money, especially when you consider the level of facilities on offer.

I’m sold! How do I choose the best park for me?
You can find out more about Eurocamp’s best toddler friendly sites here. This year Eurocamp Holidays have introduced the most beautiful new toddler friendly site in Chianti, Camping Orlando, right in the breath-taking heart of the Tuscan hills, which is definitely worth checking out! We’ve also show-cased our favourites here, to help you easily find and pick out the best possible option for you and your preschool children. We have personally visited and reviewed Les Ecureuils in the beautiful Vendee, and you can read our review here. It’s easy to understand why Eurocamp Holidays are so popular, and they do tend to sell out quickly, so make sure you book early to avoid disappointment!
